Introduction

Welcome to Myna Academy of Performing Arts (Myna Academy). These Terms & Conditions govern student enrolment, participation, and conduct at our academy. By enrolling, students and their parents/guardians (if applicable) agree to abide by these terms.

Enrolment & Registration

  1. Admission is subject to availability, completion of the registration process and payment of the required fees
  2. Myna Academy reserves the Right to Admission and to request additional documents (e.g., ID proof, medical details, emergency contact information).
  3. For Students below the age of 18, the Consent of the Parent / Guardian will be required for purpose of Registration or other Activities

Fees, Payments, Refunds

  1. All course fees must be paid in full before classes commence.
  2. Fees are non-refundable.
  3. Fees may be modified at the discretion of Myna Academy as it may deem fit.
  4. Additional charges may apply for costumes, examination fees, performance participation, or special workshops.

Attendance, Code of Conduct

  1. Students must attend all scheduled classes regularly and arrive on time.
  2. Students are expected to be respectful towards instructors, staff, and fellow students.
  3. Any form of misconduct, including bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior, may result in suspension or dismissal.
  4. Proper dress code and discipline as per the course guidelines must be maintained.
  5. Use of mobile phones during classes is not permitted unless authorized by the instructor.

Cancellations

The academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor unavailability, natural disasters, low enrolment).

Safeguarding and Damage to Property

  1. All students, parents/guardians and visitors are expected to treat the property of Myna Academy’s property including but not limited to instruments, equipment, furniture and learning materials with care and respect.
  2. Any individual found to have caused damage to the property of Myna Academy, whether intentional or due to negligence may be held financially responsible for repair or replacement costs.

Health & Safety

  1. Parents/guardians must inform the academy of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs.
  2. Myna Academy is not responsible for any injury sustained during classes, rehearsals, or performances.
  3. Myna Academy uses security cameras and video recording devices to ensure the safety and security of our students, staff and visitors. These recordings enable us to maintain a secure learning environment
  4. Myna Academy is not liable for personal belongings lost or stolen on academy premises.

Use of Media & Recordings

  1. Myna Academy may record classes for training, quality improvement and promotional purposes. Recordings may include audio, video and recordings of lessons/events. 
  2. By enrolling, students/parents consent to the academy using photos/videos for marketing, social media, and promotional activities.

Amendments to Terms & Conditions

Myna Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
